The Irish World Rally Team climbed two places on the last day of World
Rally Championship in Jordan, leaving the Irish duo of Shaun Gallagher
and Paul Kiely placed second overall. Gallagher won stage eighteen on
the last day of rallying in Jordan.

GALLAGHER – IRISH HOPES ARE HIGH FOR RALLY JORDAN |

World Rally Team Ireland arrives this week in Amman, Jordan to compete in
the Junior World Rally Championship. The team hopes to build on their impressive
showing in Rally Mexico, where Shaun Gallagher finished sixth despite suffering
from a viral infection. Gallagher will be partnered by fellow Irishman and Sligo
native Paul Kiely.
